I have nothing to do…now what?

How does character impact us in those moments when we don’t have anything on our calendars, or “nothing to do”?

I am all for taking time to relax and recharge, and at the same time see great benefits in staying as productive as possible. The quote below provides a great reminder how character…in those moments…can assist us in continuing to move forward.

Can character get us out of bed?

How does character assist us in working towards and accomplishing our goals?

Character and integrity go hand in hand for me. It provides the mindset that because I made a decision to do something…I do it. Not for anyone else but so that I can keep my word to myself.

Character and our Actions

Happy new year! I have been traveling over the last week, and have missed adding my thought for the day.

I am going to be studying character this month and how it relates to goals and goal setting. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I came across this quote today and had to pass it along. Are our actions really an expression of our character?

I believe so…what are your thoughts?

Who have you become in 2016?

I have enjoyed studying and hearing your feedback this month around goals.

One theme that has stuck out to me this month is the knowledge that the journey, and who we become as we strive for our goals, is sometimes as valuable as actually achieving the goal itself. The quote below puts it into perspective

What strengths and growth have you seen in yourself as you have worked towards your goals this year?

3 days left in 2016…what are you going to do with it?

We have 3 days left in 2016…what are you plans to give your best for the rest of 2016?

I love the process of setting goals. One of my favorite parts of this process is the ability to observe and notice the progress we achieve along the way. Sometimes this progress, and the growth that I see in myself and others is just as satisfying as hitting the goal.

The quote below is another great reminder to all of us to recognize how far we have come, and WHO we have become as we have worked towards our goals. Keep up the great work everyone!!!

What is another benefit of setting goals?

What happens when you set goals and strive to achieve them each day?

We hear about setting goals all the time, but how often do we really take a look at who we become as a result of working towards our goals?

This simple quote below puts it into perspective:

Are working towards our goals worth it?

I love the principle this quote teaches. It is tailored to getting in shape but I feel is applicable in every aspect of life.
