“Vision is not enough, it must be combined with venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps, we must step up the stairs.” ~ Vaclav Havel
I know that I have the ability to achieve the object of my Definite Purpose in life, therefore, I demand of myself persistent, continuous action toward its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.” ~ Napoleon Hill
As I have been studying the relationship of positive attitude and positive action this week, I have realized that having a positive VISION is a key component. When we have a positive attitude, with a positive vision of who we are and what we want, and then take positive action towards this vision…we set ourselves up for success.
“In order to carry a positive action we must develop here a positivee vision.” – Dalai Lama
“Advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life you have imagined. The future is not just some place you are going to, but is a place you are creating, and the paths to it are not found, they are made. Follow your passion as long as you live, and on this you will reach success and happiness. “ – anonymous
How has a positive VISION assisted you in taking ACTION?
My thoughts for this week are going to be around the topic of believing in and having faith in yourself. I look forward to your thoughts and ideas around this topic
“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.” – Norman Vincent Peale

Take advantage of every opportunity to practice your communication skills so that when important occasions arise, you will have the gift, the style, the sharpness, the clarity, and the emotions to affect other people – Jim Rohn
“Seek out that particular mental attribute which makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive, along with which comes the inner voice which says, ‘This is the real me,’ and when you have found that attitude, follow it.” – James Truslow Adams
It feels like we live in a world where we are told so many things by other people. for example: what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is bad, what you should feel and what you shouldn’t feel.
I am learning more and more that in order to truly live and not just survive, each one of has the opportunity to determine what makes us feel the most alive. Not what others think or say…but what we think and how we feel.
What mental attribute makes you feel most deeply and vitally alive?
I found this YouTube clip this morning and had to share. This 6 minute clip has a lot of great thoughts and motivation around goals, desire, and passion. I typed up a few of the thoughts that stuck out to me.
“There will never be a point in your life, where its the right time to do a great thing. If you are waiting for that perfect perfect moment, that perfect timing…its not going to happen. You know what you have to do, you have to create the perfect time, and the perfect opportunity and the perfect situation.”
“If you are waiting on your next door neighbor to make it happen for you, it may not happen. If you are waiting on your mother or your father they may be so ancient in their thinking that they don’t understand this opportunity you have, and if you are waiting on them it may never get done.
You don’t beg average people to be phenomenal, you don’t beg good people to be phenomenal. you just ARE phenomenal and you will attract phenomenal.”
“I mean that what you did last week don’t count. Today, Today is the only important day. There are 86,400 seconds in a day and how you use those are critical. You got 86,400 today and what you do today is going define who you are.”
“You gotta want to succeed as bad as you want to breath.”
What is the one thing that you want to succeed at?
