Should we really write our goals down?

What is the benefit of writing your goals down where you can view them each day?

For me, it provides a constant reminder of what I am working towards and the commitment I have made to accomplish my goals.

Are your goals REAL in your mind?

I love this short clip from Tony Robbins around a key step in goal setting.

He shares a point that if we can create our goals and make them so REAL in our minds…we will start to feel the emotions of actually achieving them.

Once this happens something clicks inside of us, and we start doing the work, making the plan, and committing ourselves to achieving the goals.

How can this principle assist you in building your life today?

Goal setting!!!

December is a great month to think about and plan for how we want to finish the year and how we want to start the new year. As we start a new month, I would love to get your thoughts and share ideas around goal setting.

What are your goals and plans for giving your very best in December?

Never underestimate the power of desire

What impact does desire really have on our lives?

This has been a question I have been studying throughout the month of November.

What I have learned is that Desire like most things is a choice, and if we want something bad enough, and have enough desire…we will make the choice to do something about it.   If the desire isn’t strong enough…we will only do something about it when it is convenient.

“Never, never underestimate the power of desire. If you want to live badly enough, you can live. The great question, at least for me, was: How do I decide I want to live?” – Marya Hornbache

Thankful for the ups and downs – lesson for thanksgiving

I came across this video this morning and wanted to pass it along. (Thank you Steven Aitchison)

I love the message it gives about being thankful and grateful for the ups and the downs, the good times and the bad, the success and the failures.

Know your why…increase your desire

How does knowing your WHY assist your desire?

How would you approach your life differently today if you allowed your WHY to really…and I mean REALLY drive your desire?

Enjoy this quick video and let us know your thoughts.

Lesson on desire from Michael Phelps

This picture is one of my favorites and speaks to the impact that desire can have on someone. As you are pushing, stretching, shooting for your goals, where are you focused? Are you focused on your goal, or on the person next to you?

I watched the video of this race a few times this morning and noticed that as soon as Chad Le Clos looked at Michael Phelps…he started to lose ground.

How can the lesson from this picture assist you in building the life you want?
