“Judging others makes us blind, whereas love is illuminating. By judging others we blind ourselves to our own evil and to the grace which others are just as entitled to as we are.”
inspirational thought
Does judging prohibit the truth to unfold?
“I have learned the hard way to mind my business, without judging who people are and what they do. I am more troubled by the lack of space being provided for the truth to unfold. Humans cannot seem to wait for or honor the truth. Instead, we make it up based on who we believe people should or should not be.” – Iyanla Vanzant
Lack of Judging
This week’s thoughts will be focused on the following principle:
Our level of true awareness is directly related to our lack of Judging
I am excited to study and learn more about this principle this week and look forward to your thoughts as well.
“The wise do not buy into other people’s perceptions of who they are and what they are capable of. Instead, they bypass a person’s public persona and see who they are in their highest expression. When you see actions taken with integrity, instead of words only, you will then know a soul’s worth.” ― Shannon L. Alder
When we ARE love…what impact can we have?
Once again, this week has been very inspiring and motivating for me as I have studied the principe: The best way to teach love is to be love.
I have felt an increased desire to be loving, grateful, and appreciative of all of the blessings around me. I have also noticed an increased awareness of all the blessings around me.
This video clip is a great thought to end out this week. It message is evidence of the impact we can have on others when we ARE love.
Please like and share these thoughts and this blog with anyone you feel could benefit
What lessons have you learned this week as you have focused on being grateful and being loving?
Perfect moments on Thanksgiving
As we share this day with Family and Friends, I hope we can all focus on the perfect moments that we get to spend together. Being able to show our love to those that are most important in our lives is truly a way to increase the love in our lives as well.
Enjoy this video…and enjoy the perfect moments today.
What perfect moments were you able to have today?
How does loving ourselves show love to others?
If we love ourselves…can we better show love to others?
I found this post that beautifully illustrates this principle. I feel this is a great lesson for all of us to learn.
How has loving yourself allowed you to show more love to others?
Why do we show love to others?
“Love is always bestowed as a gift – freely, willingly and without expectation. We don’t love to be loved; we love to love.” – Leo Buscaglia
What a great quote. Love is truly a gift and when we give it away just because we want to, we always seem to receive love back.
After all, isn’t loving others one of the best ways to show someone how grateful you are for them.
How has showing love to someone allowed you to show your gratitude for them?
The best way to teach love is to be love
With Thanksgiving approaching us this week, I thought I would study and focus my thoughts around ways we can show gratitude and thanks in our lives.
I feel that one of the best ways we can show our gratitude and thanks is through showing love. The main principle I want to this week is: The best way to teach love is to be love
“it is not how much we do, but how much love we put into doing it. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving” – Mother Teresa
I look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas around this subject this week.
4 lessons I have learned about opportunities
This has been another inspiring week of learning for me. I appreciate all of the thoughts that others have shared on this topic as well.
Here are the 4 main things that have stuck out for me as I have studied the principle of Life offers neither problems nor challenges, only opportunities
- We must look for the opportunity in every difficulty instead of being paralyzed at the thought of the difficulty in every opportunity
- Opportunities do require attention and work…and are sometimes hard. It has been my experience however, that these “hard” opportunities provide the greatest lessons and rewards.
- We must pay attention to the opportunity in EVERY situation.
- We can truly create opportunities out of each and every situation we are presented with. By doing this problems and challenges truly leave us and we create a world of limitless opportunities.
I have also studied examples of people taking an assumed or perceived challenge and turning it into an opportunity. This video is a great example of making an opportunity out of life.
How has this principle assisted you in your life?
Are opportunities sometimes difficult to recognize?
“Opportunity is often difficult to recognize; we usually expect it to beckon us with beepers and billboards.” – William Arthur Ward
This quote is so true. We often miss opportunities because we are expecting a big notification to say “THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT”.
Our goal is to pay attention to the opportunity in EVERY situation.
