Are you going to be part of the Herd?

The human race is a herd. Here we are, unique, eternal aspects of consciousness with an infinity of potential, and we have allowed ourselves to become an unthinking, unquestioning blob of conformity and uniformity. A herd. Once we concede to the herd mentality, we can be controlled and directed by a tiny few. And we are.” – David Icke

I have learned so much this week as we have discussed living a conscious life. It has helped me pay more attention and be more aware of each time that I am going through the motions or living unconsciously.

My goal, is to make a conscious choice to program and direct my life in a way that creates the life, relationships, and happiness that I want.  As we have learned this week,  if I don’t...then life is going to do it for me.  I don’t want to be part of the Herd anymore.

What about you?

Anger…Is it an unconscious choice that holds us back from directing our lives?

Is anger an unconscious choice and emotion?

This is an interesting question for me.  I will be honest, there are times when I find myself getting angry.  Mostly with myself and my children.  As I have paid attention to my conscious choices, I have realized that Anger is truly an unconscious “reactionary” emotion, and that getting angry takes the control away from me being able to direct my life.

This quote provides some great insight on this emotion

“Patience and Compassion are stronger than Anger.  Anger is an unconscious emotion which arises without you thinking about it.  Nobody consciously chooses to be angry.  Nobody chooses anger, it just arises, like a knee-jerk reaction.  Patience is a conscious emotion.  Patience and Compassion have the energy of pure consciousness behind them.  That’s why Patience and Compassion are stronger than Anger” – quote found on MMAquotable.com

How does anger hold you back from making conscious choice about how you want to direct your life?

What do you have written on your arrow and where is it taking you?

As I look at this picture, I see two people who are heading somewhere, and I wonder if they are clear on where they are actually going?  Are they just going through the motions or consciously heading following the path they have developed?

What if they had their dream, goal, or direction written on their arrows to provide added support and clarity on where they were going?

This quote  has helped me determine how I want to direct and program my life.

“Advance confidently in the direction of your dreams and endeavor to live the life you have imagined.  The future is not just some place you are going to, but is a place you are creating, and the paths to it are not found, they are made.  Follow your passion as log as you live, and on this you will reach success. “ – Anonymous

Are you unconscious about the direction of your life?

Quotation-C-G-Jung-life-self-awareness-fate-conscious-Meetville-Quotes-134581

How often do you live your life on “auto-pilot” or by “going through the motions” and look back on the day/week/month/year and wonder what happened?  This is a perfect example of living life unconsciously.

This quote provides a simple step to increase your consciousness.

Simply start paying attention to the unconscious thoughts and choices you make.

When we become aware of these unconscious thoughts and choices, we automatically make them conscious.  Then, if we choose to, we can direct and program our lives in the direction we want it to go.  When we are not aware…we have no choice.

How could this quote assist you in programming and directing your life?

Who is going to program and direct your life?

I have had some amazing experiences this past week that I am so excited to share with everyone. These experiences are all centered around the following quote.

“If you don’t program your life…it will program it for you.” – Bruce D Schneider

What are your thoughts around this quote?

For me, this quote says that if I am not taking steps to better my life, if I am not focusing on making conscious choices on how I want to show up and what I want my life to look like…then life is going to do it for me, and I may not even realize what is happening.

This week I am going to focus my thoughts on ways we can consciously program and direct our lives in a way that enables us to live consciously.  I look forward to your thoughts and insights.

How can we develop a Positive Attitude?

Positive-Thinking-Quotes

I have kept my thoughts very simple this week.  As I have done this I have realized something more than every before’

Having a Positive Attitude is a simple principle and it all starts with us making a conscious choice, each day to have a positive attitude.  It does require work, but so does everything else in life that is worth something.

“Happiness is an attitude. We either make ourselves miserable, or happy and strong. The amount of work is the same.”Francesca Reigler

How has choosing to have a positive attitude assisted you this week?

How to make things turn out best?

Simple, but powerful quote today:

“Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.” ~ John Wooden

How can this quote assist you in developing a positive attitude?

The Positive Pledge…make a choice to have a positive attitude!

This pledge was shared with me today and it lines up perfectly to everything I have been posting around the power of positive attitude.

How does a positive attitude set the conditions to each day?

This thought was shared with me yesterday.  I love it and had to pass it along to everyone. Thanks for passing this along Cammee

“To get up each morning with the resolve to be happy, is to set our own conditions to the events of each day.  To do this is to condition circumstances, instead of being conditioned by them” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Make a choice each morning…what choice will you make?

What a great quote to start the week.

“Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.” ~ Groucho Marx

How has this thought benefited you?

For me it gives me an opportunity to make a choice each morning on how I am going to approach the day.
