Do we focus on what is missing in our lives, or all the wonderful blessings?

We are trying to sell our home right now.  The process has allowed me to build more patience and faith.  I was thinking about being away from my family this morning, and I found this quote.  It reminded me just how blessed I am in my life.

“When we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives, but are grateful for the abundance that’s present…we experience heaven on earth.” – Sarah Breathnach

How often do we focus on the things that we don’t have, or the things that are missing in our lives, and forget to recognize ALL the wonderful blessings that we have?

I am going to continue to focus on recognizing all the abundance in my life…how about you?

  1. Zig Zigler said “Gratitude is one of the most powerful emotions…” I love it because I feel better when I identify gratitudes (made up word).
I appreciate these ideas you are sharing, thanks.
