I was presented with a opportunity today and of course it has been on my mind all morning. As I was getting situated at work for the day I came across the quote below from Richard Branson
The lesson for me from this quote…Life is going to give you opportunities, and they have the potential to push and stretch you beyond what you feel you are capable of. But, if you never take these opportunities…you will never know what you are truly capable of.
What opportunities have you been offered lately? What would happen if you said YES to them?

Definitely agree with this thought, but I believe many of us miss the boat by waiting for someone to provide opportunities to us. Why not proactively obtain as many opportunities for advancement as possible – whether it’s in the workplace or any other part of our lives? Just think how many chances to better ourselves we miss, because we cower in the face of the unknown and resign ourselves to what’s comfortable – even when we know it’s nowhere near our potential?

I couldn’t agree more. I believe that this opportunity has come to me because I have been proactively working to create it. It is amazing to watch things unfold when we actively take part in the creation of our lives, instead of waiting like you mentioned for the opportunity to present itself.
